Schlegel Q-LON profile codes: groove and gap measurement reference
Look up exact Schlegel Q-LON profile codes and 15 maker-listed historical printed-code identities in one place. The contemporary code section provides approved catalog measurement fields; the historical section helps interpret old Aquamac labels without claiming that a replacement will fit.

Historical Aquamac / Q-LON printed-code lookup (maker conversion table)
Have an older Aquamac name on a removed weatherseal, or the historical QL 5878, QL 836 or QL 9111 label? Find that exact printed code below and read the name listed alongside it in Schlegel’s official maker conversion table. Schlegel identifies Aquamac as a historical Q-LON product name; this is a code-label cross-reference only, not proof that two physical profiles are dimensionally identical or interchangeable in an existing frame.
| Q-LON maker-table code | Historical printed Aquamac code |
|---|---|
| QL 3009 | Aquamac 21 |
| QL 3012 | Aquamac 33 |
| QL 3013 | Aquamac 48 |
| QL 3005 | Aquamac 63 |
| QL 3004 | Aquamac 99 |
| QL 3011 | Aquamac 109 |
| QL 3015 | Aquamac 122 |
| QL 3020 | Aquamac 124 |
| QL 5878 | Aquamac 5878 |
| QL 3006 | Aquamac 89 |
| QL 836 | Aquamac 836 |
| QL 9111 | Aquamac 9111 |
Source and uncertainty: Schlegel official Aquamac and Q-LON product-code conversion table, section “Q-LON and obsolete Aquamac product codes” (checked 10 October 2026). Schlegel lists QL 3015 alongside Aquamac 122 and also calls QL 3015 “Zerogap”; that is a printed-code identification note, not a verified installation-fit or part-number supersession.
Next step for each code: Photograph the old seal with the printing legible, capture the end-on profile and retaining foot, measure the channel opening, insertion depth and closing gap, then compare the exact profile drawing and your window/door maker’s applicable replacement documentation. If any geometry or OEM application is uncertain, stop rather than ordering on a code match alone. For general definitions and code history, see the weatherstrip terminology guide.
How to compare a removed sample
- Photograph the relaxed seal end-on with a ruler and orientation marker.
- Measure the actual retaining stem or backing and its receiver opening independently.
- Measure relaxed reach, bulb/body diameter or height and the closed-door gap without stretching or crushing the sample.
- Compare only the matching published fields and units; a similar profile or printed code does not establish fit.
- For replacement confirmation, use the exact door/window maker, model, configuration and primary part drawing.
Stop rule: Catalog dimensions and historical printed-code references are identification clues only. Do not infer OEM fit, universal interchange, current inventory, or a replacement/supersession from these pages.
Start with generic kerf-in foam-clad identification or surface-backed profile identification, depending on the actual mount—not simply on the code string.
